As a registered charity that does not receive government funding, Wild ARC is reliant upon the generosity of businesses, organizations, and individuals. Cash donations directly assist with our animal care operations, while in-kind service and supply donations help to raise money at our special events and lower our operating costs. Legacies and bequests enable Wild ARC to undertake desperately needed capital projects to repair and replace caging.

There are many ways to support wild animals at Wild ARC through designated donations as all monies and gifts allocated to Wild ARC stay in our community to help our wildlife. Although some administrative duties are assisted by the BC SPCA head office in Vancouver, funds specifically raised for Wild ARC are credited to our branch. The BC SPCA is proud to report that only 8% of donated funds go towards administrative costs.

Please consider becoming a committed supporter of Wild ARC by making a donation towards a specific project or event, or participating in a sponsorship opportunity. All donations, including in-kind services, gift certificates, new and used artwork, and merchandise, qualify for a tax receipt. These items can be sold at our silent auction, used in our bi-annual raffles, or given as prizes at our fundraising events.

Sponsorship opportunities range from sponsoring a cage (assist maintenance costs), or sponsoring an animal (assist food and medical costs), to even becoming a title sponsor for our Paws for a Cause Walk & Run for Wildlife or Silent Auction Gala. Our community also benefits with opportunities to sponsor a child to attend summer camp.
