Wild animals can suffer from a variety of aliments, which require specific care, food and medical supplies, and housing. From special formulas for nursing orphaned mammals for months, to emergency X-rays and regular antibiotics for injured birds - all have significant costs. The average costs of caring for one wild animal ranges from $150 to $300, and special cases requiring surgery and long-term treatment can cost over $1000.
Consider leaving a legacy for wildlife in your community by considering Wild ARC in your will or by donating to wildlife care in memory of a loved one. Bequests will help Wild ARC in planning capital projects to build more cages and pens for the future. With increasing numbers of animals received each year, Wild ARC must also grow with its growing need in the community.
