The annual Paws for a Cause campaign is now a JOINT Wild ARC & Victoria SPCA event, and we hope you're as excited as we are! It's an opportunity to raise awareness and crucial funds to help us care for animals in need in your local community.
This year, our communities are coming together on walk day with a combined goal of raising $125,000 for the animals. You can help by registering with the campaign, collecting pledges and encouraging fellow animal-lovers to get involved too.

UPDATE: All Summer Camps weeks in Victoria are now full. See you next year!
The very successful BC SPCA Summer Camps are back after a year's hiatus! The Victoria SPCA and Wild ARC Branches will be jointly offering week-long day camps in July & August for children ages 8-12. (Children younger or older than this range will find the activities not suited to their interests).
Kids will learn about proper pet care, wildlife, farm animals, animal welfare issues and the environment. Of course the favorite time of day is spent with the animals. We always get requests for more time with the animals but we are very conscientious of the stress and well-being of the animals and the safety of our campers. The average time spent with animals is approximately 1 hour/day. Games, crafts, skits, guest speakers and field trips will fill the week with a combination of fun and learning.
Camps run 8:30 - 4:30 daily. Three Camp Counsellors will be responsible for up to 20 kids per week. Camps will be held at the BURNSIDE CAMPUS (Community School) at 3130 Jutland Road. Days trips to the Victoria SPCA (walking distance) and Wild ARC (by bus) will take place but all children should be dropped off and picked up at above location.
Cost = 5 day camp $140 for BC SPCA Kids Club Members, $160 non-members
